How do I add an account

In the app, choose to add an account and scan the QR code provided by eMedics or another service, or enter the key manually.

How do I move accounts to a new phone

On the old phone, go to Settings > Export accounts to generate a QR code. On the new phone, scan that code while adding accounts.

How do I move accounts from Google Authenticator

The app supports QR codes in the Google Authenticator compatible format. Export your accounts from Google Authenticator as a QR code and scan it in eMedics Authenticator.

I lost my phone

Codes cannot be recovered, because they are never stored anywhere except on the phone. Use the service's own backup codes to regain access. This is the price of keeping data only on your device.

The code does not work

Check that your phone has automatic time setting turned on (network date and time). An incorrect phone clock produces incorrect codes.
